Analyze an IPv4 subnet

Enter an IPv4 address and CIDR prefix. Calculations run locally in your browser.

Four octets from 0 to 255
/
0 to 32

This IPv4 subnet calculator validates every octet and calculates network boundaries locally in your browser.

How to calculate an IPv4 subnet

  1. Enter an address such as 192.168.1.10.
  2. Enter its CIDR prefix from /0 to /32.
  3. Select Calculate subnet to see its mask, network, broadcast, usable range, and capacity.

The calculator treats /31 as a two-address point-to-point network under RFC 3021 and /32 as one host route.
